Integrity Static Plus Mattresses
Integrity Static Plus mattress is a high specification foam mattress designed for people at very high risk of pressure ulcers. This mattress is meant for users who are deemed very likely to suffer from pressure damage. The product is two parts – a hinged frame of high density foam which provides stability at the edges, and a lower density castellated foam insert, which allows air movement and greater envelopment.
The side walls are hinged so that when the mattress is used on an electric bed with back rest and knee break, the mattress conforms readily to the movement. The castellation helps to manage the micro-climate within the mattress, which is covered with a welded Nylon coated polyurethane fabric cover.
The Integrity Static Plus mattress consists of a high density foam base and reinforced side-walls, and a lower density castellated foam insert. The castellated insert is a completely replaceable piece that can renew the mattress at a reduced cost.
The reinforced side-walls have profiling hinges designed into them, ensuring the mattress retains its shape when on a profiling bed. This increases the lifetime of the mattress.
